Yes...I googled.

Can I just say...and I'm just being honest...(lol) Confessions of a Shopaholic is such an awesome movie :-) Laura and me watched it yesterday, and it's soo awesome and funny. Amy Adams rocks, you just can't go wrong with her movies ;-)

Okay, I'm fed up right now. I haven't seen Laura all week and she NEVER checks her twitter. It's super annoying because I can't find her on flickr and I need to communicate with her somehow! buuut I don't feel like using up texts for the lame stuff. Oh, also, I used my spiffy handmade apron when making brownies yesterday!! Just so ya know.

Before I forget

Oh, before I forget, Laura and I have made excellent strides in our love lives as well. Oh gosh, did I really just type that? Hopefully Laura's parents don't read this entry......oh well, I'll keep it general. Let's just say that Laura met someone at NYC and they have been *cough* obsessively *cough* texting each other nonstop ever since. Oh, and he (not naming names) calls her beautiful and pretty. He is also said to be quite the player. And I personally actually gave my number to a guy, although he is really just a friend and will also probably never text me. But that's okay, we talk on facebook through INBOX messages. Yeah, that's right. Where no one else can see them. Haha it's not really like that, we really just talk about him going to Haiti and school coming up fast. Because he's a friend. And, in all honestly, nothing more. Sure, he's adorable and a great guy, but I just don't think he's for me. But I haven't told Laura this yet, so shhh! don't tell her! She will find out when she (and hopefully not her/my parents/assorted family members) reads this. So yes...that is all. And Laura, if you try and make a joke about this, remember to just stick to being pretty next time, 'kay? ;-)

Band Geeks

"I've got a date with a little lady, and her name is Clara Net." -Squidward (our idol)

Band Camp came and went again. It was quite the exciting time. Haha. I can't even type it with a straight face. But seriously, it was torturous as always. Next year, we will reign supremely over all the underclassmen!! MWAHAHAHA!
The only fun part about band camp was.... lunch on the roof, baby!! Although, I doubt I'll be joining the gang next time they do this, because I keep having dreams that we're on the roof and a janitor/principal/official person of authority sees us and we're busted. So...yeah. I probably won't be up there again soon. Got some photo evidence though! Maybe I should destroy it before it gives us away....
The pranks for next year will be excellent! Trash cans on the roof with attached balloons that spell out "Seniors '12"!! Woot woot! And a throne for spineless freshies to carry me around. Oh, the possibilities.

Library Robbery

Just went to the library with Laura and her mom. It was the first time we'd seen each other in a while (she went to NYC and I went on a youth trip, both for 2 weeks), and so we dashed (okay, not really. We made Beth drive us) to the library and consulted Laura's list of CD's she wants to listen to. Actually, she just downloads the songs illegally onto her iPod, but that's irrelevant. Her list is basically 50 CD's long, and so we go to the CD racks and flip through, pulling some out here and there that seem interesting. When it's all said and done, we are both holding stacks about 20 CD's deep. We head over to the librarian behind the desk and ask what the limit on signing out CD's is, and apparently there is none (she really shouldn't have said that). The librarian looks up again to see us each holding our towering piles, and her eyes b u g o u t!! The funny thing is that they are due in a week, so it was obvious that Laura was just going to illegally download them. You definitely couldn't listen to that many CD's in a week. ANYWAY, we have them signed out and look at Laura's list to check them off, when, wouldn't you know it, she only got, like, ten of the CD's from her list. Typical Laura for you. Kidding, kidding. But seriously.

Gym Class

So today when everyone came into the locker rooms to change out of our gym clothes, our friends Rachel and Allison pretended the floors of the locker room were lava, and that we had to jump across the benches until the bell rang. They got everyone really into it, and we were changing while standing on top of these flimsy wooden benches, it was awesome! Laura, I am sorry to report, lost her belt to the bubbling hot lava, and I got my shirt tainted in toxic waste. Needless to say, those 3 minutes definitely made my day. Thanks, Rachel and Allison! :-)
